World's Largest Airbus A380 Has Taken Off
This morning at 10:29, the world's largest passenger plane has succeeded its test flight in Toulouse, France. This Airus A380 has a capacity of taking 800 passengers. To illustrate how big this is, it takes them just over an hour to board this number of passengers. One of the challenges Airbus has to face is with the security procedures. The safety standards for any passenger plane is to be able to have all passengers evacuated within 90 seconds, in the case of an emergency. |
