The Jello Shots are ONE YEAR OLD!

It's been one year already since that faithful night of April 8th, 2005 that the Jello Shots came together as one for the first time. What a great night and what a great place to kick off what would become an amazing year: The Return of the Ring. Over the last year we've met so many great people and gotten the chance to play at so many cool places from up north to downtown and even in a few hotels, and have had nothing but the most amazing crowds and great support and comments. We are ever greatful. Lest we forget our dear friend and webmastress Jerrika who's put in coutless time and effort into maintaining this great website/ reference tool. Thanks so much to everyone. This Saturday, April 8th marks one year together and just happens to be our 60th show! Happy birthday to us! We'll be sure to be getting each other some nice boxes of candies, flowers and scented oils (uhhh i mean...). This year saw us playing everything from swing to 80s to punk and greatly widening our repertoire to somewhere around 70 songs for every style of party. We got the chance to play for on a near-weakly bassis at the Jello Bar for 4 months during their Monday's Crooner Nights and have enjoyed 10 months of regular gigs at Winnies where we have had all kinds of fun! We're just looking to next year and hoping for some more great times, great crowds and great music, and look to be stepping into some new territories and totally rocking the house!!! On a personal note I would just like to thank my fellow bandmates and all the friends, family and people who have helped make the shows so memorable, especially the patrons and bar staff who have been nothing but supportive and who have kept the beer flowing!
