April 8th 2005 - Return of the Ring

This event was a swing dance evening with a vintage theme. Over 250 dancers came by to enjoy the ambiance and groove provided by The Jello Shots at the old Swing Ring of Montreal. Return of the Ring? What Ring? I'm referring here to the Swing Ring. The Swing Ring is a fabulous Ballroom that's perfect for hosting swing events. In fact, it's where the swing scene started about 6-7 years ago in Montreal and the place closed it's doors somewhere at the end of 2001. Last weekend, the Swing Ring has made a big return. Everybody dressed up vintage with their zoot suits and old dresses for the occasion and the magic from the old days was brought back with over 250 dancers dancing to the rhythm of The Jello Shots.
